American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Blythewood
American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Blythewood Announces 2018 Date
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Blythewood will take place on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Doko Meadows Park in Blythewood, South Carolina. Join local volunteers and participants as we celebrate cancer survivors, remember those lost to the disease, and take action to save more lives from cancer. The event has recently been held at Blythewood and Westwood High Schools but after careful consideration a change in venue to Doko Meadows Park and Amphitheater was recently confirmed. “Richland 2 Schools have been strong supporters for the event and their support moving forward is crucial, in addition to involvement from local businesses, organizations and faith-based groups” says Stephanie Reely, local American Cancer Society staff partner.
The event is currently seeking volunteers for the Event Leadership Team and many opportunities to become involved are available. To learn how you can take action to help move us one step closer to a world free from the pain and suffering of cancer, visit www.relayforlife.org/blythewoodsc or contact Stephanie Reely at 803-463-3407 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Fundraising through your Relay For Life event supports the Society’s mission to prevent cancer, save lives and diminish suffering from the disease. The American Cancer Society provides free information, day to day help and emotional support to cancer patients and their families 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
