The Doko Meadows Park Foundation is a nonprofit 501 (c)3 organization whose purpose is to secure and distribute contributions from individuals, estates, government, corporations, foundations, and any other source for the benefit of the community of Blythewood, including enhancements to Doko Meadows Park.
Doko Meadows Park is a 25-acre master planned park surrounding the Town of Blythewood’s historic town hall. The park currently includes a playground area with restrooms and picnic tables, walking trails with benches, a lake, an athletic field, and a multipurpose field that hosts the outdoor Blythewood Farmers Market from May through October. Doko Manor, located in the center of the park, is a 7,900-square foot brick building that is a destination for business and town meetings, weddings, banquets, and other special events. Across the lake from Doko Manor is Palmetto Citizens Amphitheater, a performance-ready outdoor amphitheater that has been home to several concerts and events since it was constructed in 2017.
The Park Foundation is led by a seven-member board of volunteers who live or work in the greater Blythewood community and are dedicated and committed to serving as stewards to the park’s development. Since it was chartered in 2015, the Park Foundation has distributed $310,000 to the Town of Blythewood for its first project: construction of the Palmetto Citizens Amphitheater.

Donors contributing $5,000 or more are recognized with a plaque on the Foundation’s permanent donor wall along the outer perimeter of the Palmetto Citizens Amphitheater seating area.
